R2 – The Newest Entry Level Non-Display MOTOTRBO Portable
MOTOTRBO R2 portable is the newest member of the MOTOTRBO family of radios, designed to be the successor of the DP1400. It has increased channel capacity, superior audio quality (3W maximum power), outstanding coverage (improved sensitivity), long-lasting battery life and many more. It’s based on a Secure Enhanced Linux operating system and can work in any basic MOTOTRBO system or (license based) can be upgraded to work in IP Site Connect systems or even in Capacity Plus Single-Site systems with no more than two repeaters.
You can also choose the analog-only R2 model, which gives you great voice communications today, with a path to crisp and clear digital voice communications when you’re ready. All you will need is a simple software upgrade.
