TELEWAVE MODEL 44A / 44AP – Broadband RF Wattmeters
The Telewave Model 44A bi-directional power monitor is a portable instrument used for direct measurement of forward and reflected RF power. Model 44A can measure directly the forward or the reflected power, only by rotating the FWD-REV switch.
VSWR is easily determined by comparing these measurements using the convenient chart on the back of the instrument.
Five power ranges are provided. The 5 watt scale will test low powered portables, while 500 watt scale makes it simple to tune high power transmitters.
In addition to the benefits of the Model 44A, the Model 44AP provides an optional RF Sampling probe designed to accurately extract a low level of RF power as it passes through the instrument. This input and output port is accessed via a BNC connector located on the side of the unit.
