R7Ex – The newest ATEX MOTOTRBO Portables Family
MOTOTRBO R7Ex is a family of portables belonging to the 3-rd generation of MOTOTRBO radios which includes a full keypad & display radio and a non-keypad & non-display one. The R7Ex radios include many outstanding new features, including 2W RF power, 2.5W audio output, AI-trained Noise Suppression, Acoustic Feedback Suppression, Intelligent Audio, Audio Recording/Playback (optional, license based), etc. The operating system is a secure Linux one. They have also an internal GNSS receiver, allowing to be used in position tracking systems. The keypad version also has a Bluetooth 5.2 interface, allowing to connect simultaneously one voice and up to 4 data devices, while the IEEE 802.11a,b,g,n,ac Wi-Fi interface can be used for wireless programming and operation in Motorola Wave systems. R7Ex can work in any MOTOTRBO system, including the trunking ones.
This high-performing portable family has the highest ATEX gas explosion group rating, being able to be used in dangerous gas, dust or mining environments.
