DP2000e Series – The MOTOTRBO Portables with Scalable Features
The Motorola DP2000e series radios offer a wide set of features including Intelligent Audio, Voice Announcements and Select 5 signaling (in analog mode). However, the radios offer as standard a limited set of digital features, enough to be used in most cases or in legacy DMR systems, offering a cheaper but versatile solution. License based software upgrades are available for adding the missing features, allowing the radios to be used in almost any MOTOTRBO system.
This series includes two models: DP2400e (a non-display / no-keypad radio) and DP2600e (B&W Display – 132 x 36 pixels, 2 line alphanumeric / limited keypad radio).
